As a Theosophist who has investigated many religions and myself being
a practicising Calvanist for over 10 years. Monasticism has been
something which I have investigated and came away with the
conclusions that
1) The sense of timelessness is real. What is one day to God when immortality
beckons? We spend so much time rushing around as every day is our last.
2)The sense of peace, joy is alsoe real.
3) The love energy is also quite powerful.
All God's children whether Catholic or Protestant. I myself am a Protestant
and recongnize that the Catholics have improved substantially and now
very little seperates both catholics and protestants. All God's children
are holy in God's love.
