Focus on our circumstances, environment, relationships. The situatoins we find ourselves at the moemnt of incarnation. Our destiny, or fate is met. i would like to make the point no matter how personal or personally detached we get. When wetalk about the law of karma we are talking about the fundamanetal law or the fundamental law of the cosmos. It si not justpersonal it affects the whole of manifestation. We. you and I are begat of the cosmos. And the laws which govern the cosmos oversee you and me. So, please this is a cosmic law which has somethingh to say to you and to me at a erpsonal level. But, beforewe plaugejust oneor 2 reamrks. We are taught in Theospohy thatth isis one of the most diffiuclt and least understood of all the great laws. Basically,no matter how much we study or how much of ourselves we put to it we are just nibblingaround the edges. I hoep to share with you my understanding of the law as it stands at the moment. I think that n aspiratn takes on board this truth-that truth reveals her face buyt slowly as we study, learn and live life according to what we study and learn that truth will reveal her face. We don't profess to cross off all our t's and dot our i's. And I certainly don't have easy on the spot cmofortable answers. What i have found is that Theosophy has given reason purpose and strength. Not to be discouraged there will always be another mystery to unfold.

It is quite easy to become an emotionally charged subject. I am not criticizing about that. We feel very strongly about what happens to us. The difficulty is that feeling or emotion can sometimes becloud or judgement. Another theory which I have found that faces the Theosophical student or aspirant is to make an effort to stand back from that we are trying to understand and to try to be objective about it. If I am sounding rather clinical, I am not really. If I am sounding rather clinical I am not really. I am trying yo understand a little better so I can cope a little better. I would like to make 3 points i would like you to take on 3 points.

1)Man, whether is 2 fold. He is this outer personality. he is 2 fold. he is this outer personality. Physical body. Energy all around/Emotional nature. mental personality. Higher self/Inner self. Christ principle.Dvine seed seeks to unfold through this personality(Divine powers within. Because of all the demands of this life it may take longer than one lifetime. You cannot take on board Karma without reincarnation. But if you are not happy about reincarnation put it on the back burner for a while. For every period of activity we need a subsequent period of rest. Beasically reincarnation is as imple as that. The lifecycle of ourselves or the lifecycle of the universe. Remember we are speaking

For every period of activity we need a subsequent period of rest. Basically reincarnation is as simple as that. The lifecycle of ourselves or the lifecycle of the unverse. Remember we are speaking cosmically as well as personally and this is reincarnation as it affects us. If you are not happy we have an unwritten law in our society. Do you own thinking. So if I sound emphatic or dogmatic don't worry.

i have lost count of the number of differnet times people have said," Why should this happen to me. Sooner or later i believe it to be the experience of all of us. It is an interesting quirk of human nature isn't it. That jnormally we only say it about the unpleasant things. When everything in the garden is lovely and grwowing fine we don't say why should happen to me. And we stop and think and count or blessings. But as soon as life hits us hard as it hits all of us sooner or later and we can't see an immediate reason for it then we say,"Why should this happen to me>"it is really valid as both accoutns. And indeed initaially it can be valid question. life can hit us hard and suddently and unexpectedly. it is at times like that the questoin is torn form our lips. The realy questoin I would like to address is how are we to cope?

Seeker, the thinker, the asirant or student-happiness or tears. How am I going to cope? Emotionally and mentally. I am triaprtite in my personality. life comes to me in these three levels. I am reacting at these levels simulataneously. A tremendous energy is coming out, physical emotion in reaction to what happens. Sop, 3 levels of experiennce from which I hae to ope so the wquestion is how am i coping. Because the enrgies we generate in response to a situation. Immediately become causes which generate futher effets. iw ould like to sak yo a question,"Do you think that life is unfair?"Before you answer mentally. It is got to be unfair all the itme or is to be fari all the time. We can't have everyting going fine and everyone saying life is fair. Suddenly the cloud comes. Life is diffiuclt and it becomes uinfair. We have to make up outr minds a abou this one way or another. So what is it both fundamentally and physically that makes one set of circumstrances just and acceptable and another just the oposite. On what do you base you reactions. Has life left us wioth areas of resentment, resiual infection which have left ot fester which have become chronic. Something happens they flare uyp and become acute physical, emotional symptoms. That certain somehting we call happiness, stabvility isso often soloely dependant on what comes t ous or what happensto us. What comes in this precarious world. that delicate balance of peace and power. You mioght term inner security known no sure place within us. On the whole so vulnerable are we our mental/emotinal poise. Generally speking our visionm, and immature or spiriutal growth. the thing that happns or might happen have a disastrouds effect and the sesult on the whole we live life on 3 levels,. Carelessly, defensively we are at the mercy of outer conditions like mere straw to be tossed about. now to consider the concept of karma in any depth whatsoever we need to reconsider our life totally and absolutley differently. Many years ago I xame acorosds a quote,"Fear never robbed tommorow of its sorrow". Only today of its strength. Fear never robbed tommorrow of its sorrow. Only body of its strength. Life is like a grindstone. Whether is polishes you up or grinds you down depends on what you are made of. So what are we made of. Are we so brittle that the touch of a grindstone do we fracture, chip and fly apart or are we loosely and sloppily made. wE literally fall aprt. that beautiful diamond firmness that only needs to be polished up from whatever fate throw at us. I want only to suggest that these are important questions if you are a student and a thinker. Grow our minds concerning these questions or are we on permanently shifting sands adn offer invain no solution. Our ability to measure up at every level to develop themoral/spiritual fibre. To match the demands of the law is in no small extent rooted and grounded firmly in our philosophy iof life and our understadnig and not lesast of ourselve. Least of all the degreee to which we can become true to them. All of thesse htings are changeable and waverable. It;s pointless ot repeatedly to seek, to ealrn. To match the demands of the law is no small extentrooted and grounded firmly in ourphilosphyof life and our understadning and not least ofourselves. Least of all the degree to whihc we can become ture to them. All of these things are changeable and waaveable. It's pointless to repeatedly to seek, to learn to live awhat we learn. So, how do we sort all this out.

Can we reap some harvest fromit. Can we work from it. To do this we have to be armed with not only is this possible hit it was inteded that it acutually lies at the heart of that experience becauase it would otherwise. The outcome is what depending on the experience.-bitterness/stagnation,self/pity

Our devine birthright.our time inner nature has a ture inherentndivine objective. you and I,"Do we not have to fullfill a divine promise. Has it not been laid upon us.

If we believe it. We have to do this by the rituals and experience of human suffering. At our level, no other way. let us conisder this law in a little more depth. At the heart of the Universe. Life itlsef in all it complmelxity , diveristy. This is a funamamental principle at work which combines harmony, rythm and balance. That is the fundamantal law. Break that harmony, interupt the rythym, disturb the balance physically, emotionally mentally. Immediately, the law swings into compensatory action. At any lelvel, wahtsoever, physically, emotionally, mentally at any level and restoration must take place.

Alexander Pope,"Order is heaven's fisrst law". All the emnrgies taht are sometimes generated by the forces of destiny work themselves out according to this fgreat cosmic principle. it is a principle like all divine fundamental principles. It is a principle like all divine fundamental principles. No matter how abstract they apear intiaily Globally, internationally, nationally, socially to the family circle and tro the person individually. We are each an integral part of the Universe. Let's move in alittle more closely shall and be a little more specific. This universal law rhythym and balance. Karma is neither good or bad. Itmay feel awful It may give you an experience which you asay teh grass has become a little greener or it may be jsut the oppoiste fo ryou. It's struggilng to maintain harmony, rhytym and balance. Creative and productive no matter what it is doing to us. That what is so inportant. wWhat is actually does is that ti adds credance to that splendid maxim. I alone am the captain and I the m,aster. But there is a reverse side Well, why should this happen to me. Well, my friend I wanted to suggst alternative.

Have all the things which are significant in my life dependat on something as precarious as the turn of the wheel or the toss of the coin or the throw of a dice. I sound as precious as the turn of the wheel or the turn of the coin or the throw of a dice. i sound like a gambler. Shall we laugh, drink and be merry becasue tomorrow we die. Or perhpas it is all because of your deity(God) and a capricious deity at that. The wil of Allah is a much aligned thing. There was jar that was badly made. HOw man ypeoole come into this world with theirlinmitaiotns and diffe Think of the potter. Is our God so capricious. Can we lay on him the weaknesses and and instability of human temperament. years agho I came across pamplet.

There is law, ther eis somewhere, somehow a depnednat process at work. Rooted in justice, which we might align ourselves. I would like to repeat again that Theopsohy is not always an easy option. Why isn't Thesophy an easy option. no matter what is happening to us. Somehow, somewhre you may not see it. There is a pattern to a pointing to progress and potential. it;s tough and after emotinally/mentally unaccpetable. The tragedy.crisis or heartache. there is a reason and ppuropse and this is potential in it somehwere, it is difficulty to see. There is a pattern to it pointing to reason and progress. Theosphy ;points to an ultimate unity that all things rare one. ONe-ness is the basis of all things. Not jsut a collection of different hthings fgaterhed together. but all that stands out in existnence is one thing.

There is Law. There is somehwere, somehow a dependant perocess at work. Rooted in justice, which we might align oursleves. i would like to repeat again that Theosophy is not always an easy option. Why isn't Theosophy and easy option. No matter what is happeing to Work on with nature and shel will regard you as one her creatures.

Theosophy is about discovering the reality of the oneness of all things centred. One-ness isthe basis of all things. Not just a collection of different things gathered together. All that stands out in existence is one thing. On the whole there is one lifem, one love Tripartie in nature and consytantrly at work in the universe

It says in the equation- On the whole ten ther ison Becuase th experience of whatever kind has something to teach you. And the time is ripe. Reminded of the quotations by Vioctor Hugo."There is one thing stronger than armies and is an idea whose truth has come". It is one of themost powerful sentences I have ever read. There is a message, there is an idea at the heart of all significant experience where time has come. It's almost as if life is saying "Eexcuse me". But sometimes we are som immersed in the experience.

3) I believe karma will answer. Because you are now ready to take a step forward. Whateceer, this is designed/programmed to help you to present you with anopporunity to do just thi.. Is that rahter tough do you think. Yes in a way it is rather tough. But it is not my friends as toungh/outrageous, unreasonable or illogical as the other 2 alternmaticves. This triple answer sione we can build on if we will. This triple answer is one can build on if we will. It is one which for ever eliminates the pathetic and dismal suggestion,"That we are helpless puppets. Mere straws in the wind. It also invalidates the concept outside redemptive power. It is a mantle Carelessly, defensively we are at the mercy of outer conditions like mere straws 6to be tossed about. Now to consider to the to the concept of karma in any depth whatsoever we need to reconsider ourb lige totally and absolutely differently.
